Honda on the lookout for TV documentary stars

Channel 4 has teamed up with Honda to find the stars of its upcoming documentary series, which aims to highlight some of the country's most extraordinary motorists.

The Japanese carmaker is looking for people who have used their car in an unexpected way, such as converting a Honda Civic into an ice-cream van.

Car owners are encouraged to enter their details before the end of September and the best examples will be turned into a mini-documentary, which will be screened on Channel 4 as part of Honda's sponsorship of the TV channel's documentaries.

Martin Moll, marketing director at Honda, said: "We are always fascinated when we find out what our customers get up to with their Hondas and I'm really looking forward to hearing more extraordinary stories."

He added that Honda is keen to hear all sorts of stories, no matter how daft, off-the-wall or unexpected they are.
