| Motability is a national UK charity which helps
disabled people and their families to become more mobile. It was set up
on the initiative of the Government in 1977, to provide vehicles and
powered wheelchairs to disabled people. |

| HOW THE MOTABILITY SCHEME WORKS |
Special
terms have been arranged with motor manufacturers, banks and insurers
so that today a variety of schemes can be offered to enable disabled
people to become mobile.
Motability offers three different schemes to help disabled people obtain a vehicle. These are:
- Contract Hire Scheme for new vehicles
- Hire Purchase Scheme for new vehicles.
- Hire Purchase Scheme for used vehicles.

| Once a customer has chosen which scheme they wish to join, they then
agree to pay over all, or part of their mobility allowance (DLA or
WPMS), depending on their choice of vehicle, for the duration of their
contract hire, or hire purchase agreement. |

have fully trained Motability specialists who are happy to guide you
through each step of the process required to ensure that all your
requirements are met. |
All aspects of the scheme including maintenance, responsibility, collection and return will be fully explained.

| Scrapppage Allowance |
| The Government’s recently announced scrappage incentive for cars over
10 years old, is not available for anyone opting for lease and contract
hire packages. In line with this, Motability contract hire (lease)
customers are not eligible to receive this incentive. Leasing a car
through Motability still continues to offer an excellent range of
affordable cars with significant discounts secured for our customers
through the considerable scale of the Scheme. If you are interested in
buying a car outright using the Motability hire purchase scheme, you
